Photographer Jason Steussy has earned multiple awards, both locally and
regionally, and was a member of two consecutive NPPA Station of the Year
winners while at WHO-TV in Des Moines. Working alone or as part of a
reporting team, Jason will tell your story with steady, sequenced video and
meaningful natural sound. Well-versed in DVC-Pro and Betacam formats,
live truck operation, helicopter gyro-stablized cameras, Avid XPress Pro,
Avid Newscutter, Panasonic Newsbyte, and linear editing techniques, no
story is too big or too small! Equipment includes a Panasonic AJ-D700 DVC-
Pro camera, Sachtler Fluid Head and Hot Pod, Lowel Pro Lights, two
Lectrosonics UHF wireless sets, Steadybag, pinhole camera and more. We
have done work for KXJB in Fargo, ND, WHO in Des Moines, IA, WKBT in La
Crosse, WI, as well as NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS.
